Doing some game resources just to keep going with the modeling and keep me bus. This batch is for a game I designed- interested in seeing how far I get with it on my own.
Scaling seems to be the only concern I have, as no matter the constant I use in Maya, when I import them into Unity I usually have to scale them up to match the prebuilt terrain objects that come with the program.
Figure this out later once I've finished creating the actual island terrain and painted it- going to try my hand at creating a terrain using a height map that I made in Photoshop.
It'll be nice if I can create something from this- the idea has huge potential, I'm just not that 'up' on how to sell my ideas as well as they sound in my head.

This is about a good a place as any for the 'animation' blog to be found- obviously I've already got content here in that vein, and I'll try and update with more content as it comes down the pipeline.

well, as things go this is my first post- and depending on what happens, hopefully not my last either

if things at livejournal continue on the downward spiral I'll simply relocate here and see if others follow, or barring that if I can pick up aggregates of the ones that matter most

if in response to the livejournal post there are some viewers to read this in the next few days, then say hi and I'll add you here

here is to hoping this proves to be an upswing, and not just another failed path on the journey
